MAC's new Haute & Naughty Waterproof Lash mascara ($22) fabricated information technology through the "AVOID EMOTIONAL TRIGGERS" dates on my calendar with flying colors, so it'due south alright by me.
Aye…there really is a x-day block of time highlighted in red on the calendar that I share with El Hub, and there really is a note on information technology (in all caps) that says, "Avoid EMOTIONAL TRIGGERS."
I consider it a courtesy warning for my hubby, so that he knows to prepare for possible PMS-induced mood swings, and thus stay outta my way…lest he endure the consequences.

OK, not really.
I'll be going along, doop-da-doo, happy equally a lark with a mollusk, until out of nowhere — Blast! — I'll see a commercial about adoptable kittens or read a sad story on Facebook, and only similar that, I'll start crying.
Hence the need for waterproof mascara like Haute & Naughty Waterproof Lash.
Like the other day, I was thinking about the first time I met Tabs (it was about eight years ago) when it occurred to me that he'south not going to be effectually forever…

Waterproof Lash is MAC's latest add-on to their Haute & Naughty Lash mascara line, and it'southward available in a single shade, a deep glossy black called Shockproof.
Similar MAC'due south other Haute & Naughty line mascaras, depending on how you twist off the cap, you tin can load the castor in ane of two means, with either more than (in this instance, twisting it off from the sparkly section) or less (twisting it off from the dark blue section) product. Load the brush with extra product for thicker, fuller lashes, or with less product for less volume, merely amend length and lots o' separation.
I like to create a lash cocktail, starting with two layers for length and separation, followed by a final layer with the thicker application to add some drama for yo' mama.
The result is noticeable, simply not cray (no spider lashes!), criss-crossing lashes with fullness at the base.
This stuff as well passed the ultimate test: it survived crying and sweating at the aforementioned time. Yes, I was the girl bawling on the bike in spinning class last weekend when the instructor gave his pep talk while Free Falling was playing (later he told me it happens all the time).
Embarrassing? Virtually certainly, yes, but I learned that Haute & Naughty Waterproof Lash won't flake, smudge, clump or irritate my sensitive eyes, not even in farthermost situations.
I think of this equally a good Monday through Fri-yay mascara. Come Sat, though, I'll be looking for more dramatic, take-no-prisoners, big-similar-Biggie-Smalls lashes.
Recommended for my girls (and boys) who want a waterproof formula with oomph.
